But in fairness, anyone who pays, or has paid, a reasonable amout ot taxes deserves one vote -- no more, no less.

But I would have no problems with:

(1) a mandatory drug test
(2) high-school diploma, or overseas equivalent for naturalized legal immigrants, required
(3) no child-support delinquency
(4) indeterminate disfranchisement for convicted felons, and permanent disfranchisement for drug-related felonies

Anybody wanna guess which party would be the loser?
I won't write down my guess but I bet that Hillary Clinton wouldn't like many of your requirements, especially the part about felons.

Right wingers--please read this ^^ and then tell us, which party is it that hates America again? Because it's obvious that this OP millionaire for Romney (how appropriate!) at least, hates everything this country was founded on. What a patriot!

No need, campaign contributions already achieve the same outcome. He who has the gold makes the rules.

Wow how sad

This is one of the many examples of the Republican party going the way of the Dodo bird.

Not a liberal. I really don't have a party affiliation although my family generally votes Republican. What absurd statement did i make. At one time, only land owners were allowed to vote. This was the case until 1850 there also was a tax requirement as well. At the signing of the constitution there were really only about 15% of the people of the country allowed to vote. Did they not teach you that in public school? I am simply proposing going back to that. Our founding fathers did not believe the govt. should be elected by a mob of uneducated poor people.

Votes should be based on how much taxes you pay

Only rich people vote? you righties get sicker by the day ,how long before concepts for the eradication of any one not making a certain level of income arise? You pay no taxes?= box car number 7 .off to the soylent green factory for you..
Why not just make it illegal for any one but Republicans to vote, that way you'd be assured of winning every election and you could install Romney for life..

Thanks for proving that "you lefties" will fall for anything, and then bundle all the "righties" together as if anyone agrees with this idiot.

Two peas in a pod, you and millionaireboy are.
