Lawmakers are pushing legislation through Congress that will criminalize reporting on illegal activities and corruption in the US government.....What makes this new legislation shocking is that we have seen the US government repeatedly use the “State Secrets” and the “National InSecurity card to suspend the Constitution at will to commit a wide variety of heinous activities from torture and indefinite detention without trial to outright forced drugging of prisoners and even repeated assassination by the government, of people including US citizens, which is now being done on the direction of the United States’ first even assassination czar.

They are trying to put Fox news out of business.

What does this have to do with Faux News??? If anyone wants to dig out the truth , they must rely upon actual and genuine JOURNALISM by bonafide JOURNALISTS. This does not include Fox.

Not CONGRESS, but the REPUBLICAN House. They're not trying to put Fox out of business, they're trying to help Fox w/ it's propaganda war. They're trying to put all OTHER news out of business.

Common tactic from corrupt government.

Here is an issue going on in California. Basically, the carbon trading scam that is being implemented there is run by a company to which isn't even a resident of CA and lobbied to have them be exempt from CA laws concerning open public meetings and information concerning them.

Get used to this type of behavior at all levels of government. They want to rule on what is "best" for everyone, but oddly, they are afraid to let people see what that is. Typical money/power scams.
