Why not show all expendetures for all of congress and lets make real comparrisons.
If at first you don't succeed, deflect deflect deflect.

Changing the topic is on old trick. It only works on children.

These teabaggers are hypocrites.

How is this being fiscally irresponsible? How are they supposed to get around DC? Would you rather have them be provide with taxi fair everywhere they go or drivers who drive government purchased vehicles? This entire thread is ridiculous. Hell they even have to be low greenhouse emitting vehicles as deemed by the EPA. Gimme a break.

No deflect just asking for a comparrison, $25,000 is the low side of new autos so if it is a perk of the job atleast they aren't buting Cadillacs, Mercedes, Lamborginis.

Let's see what they are all using their perks for.

Let's not be hypocrites let's look at congress as a whole and see who are the true hypocrites.

Here is the actual report. I'm sure savior read all 1000 pages to ensure there was no hypocrisy before he came charging in with his thread about the evil tea party folks buying Lamborghini's on the taxpayer dime. LOL

It gets worse

To clarify, these payments were not personal expenditures from each congressman’s $174,000 salary
These guys could lease a Ford for $170 a month, which is $2,000 a year, but no, they want to live the good life.

Tea party = living it up on tax payers money. Many jobs that require travel reimburse you for gas, they don't provide you with a sweet pimped out ride.

So you're saying that the taxpayers SHOULD buy them a car?

Well savior if you read the link I posted from the house they can all get a leased pimped out ride up to 1K bucks a month as long as it meets the epa greenhouse standards. Perhaps you should take it up with who decided on leasing vehicles in the first place. Good luck in your quest.

Of course. If your job required you to travel extensively would you use your personal vehicle, pay for the gas and upkeep, and not expect reimbursement?

Gas reimbursement = $25,000? Man, that's a whole lot of driving
