Anyone TRAFFICKING drugs should be put to death.
Why should they get away with destroying and killing so many people? In one not very populated county alone -- 23 dead from the greed of the drug dealers and traffickers, many more destroyed.
Once again, we present to Rio Arriba County and Española Valley residents the most recent drug overdose death statistics for 2011. It’s cliche and common for people to respond to a dire situation with, “Does someone have to die before something is done about this?”
We’re way past that point. Drug addicts continue to die at an alarming rate. We slipped significantly from last year, when the Office of Medical Investigator reported 16 drug overdose deaths in Rio Arriba County. This year we hit 23.

People will keep murdering others, raping, wife-beating, and so on, legal or not. Why is Bernie Madoff in prison for a greed that never killed anyone? Yet drug traffickers whose greed is so much that they would deliberately poison people with the most addictive substances possible are allowed to roam free, taking victim after victim?
