Do peope actually believe either party is for all americans? (Representatives, unemployment)

do you people actually believe that democrats or republicans are for all americans? I laugh whenever I hear the criticism that obama just divides this country. Why can we just accept that each party has certain groups that they look out for. The next time republicans have any policy that looks out for the poor, it will be the first, and democrats are looking to bleed the wealthy as much money as possible. Does anybody really thing mitt romney is going to unite this country?

I just laugh at all the bashing on here.

Our representatives in Washington have only served themselves and the big corporations. That includes both Rs and Ds

Problem is not all Americans are acting like old fashioned Americans.

We have developed a population who are not disabled or elderly that believe they should have a right to the treasury.
We now have an elite class of government workers that has been increased as a percentage of the population by thousands of % and all these government dependent people represent a very large special interest group very invested in taking other people's money. Very unethical and not the America of years past.

Not an improvement at all either.

Lets see....Repubs and Dems are against, High unemployment, High taxes and so on. Yet we still have those and others.

Pretty much they always blame each other while we as fools keep on paying the price and voting these self serving leaders back into office.

Bleed the wealthy? LOL. The Dems are practically begging the Fed institute a new Wall Street welfare program.

Both Houses serve both their constituents and the general population. Each Department has it's own objectives and mission which must serve both the public and the Congress. Each Agency has it's own directives that they are obligated to address and accomplish. The Cabinet is obliged to prioritize the needs of every Department and Agency, balancing them with the priorities established by the House and Senate. The President can propose his own objectives and has the power to reorganize priorities by several means, including the veto. In some circumstances, the President can take specific actions on his own as well.

All in all, almost all of us have our hands in the treasury in some way or other. It has been this way since the establishment of our republic.

Our government only units the politicians they divide the people because that's the way they stay in power.
United we stand divided we fall, the government knows this too well.
