OMG! How dare people have wealth. That needs to be taken from them and redistributed to the people. Oh, wait, that sounds an awful lot like socialism. People worked hard for that money, or they worked hard to keep that money. Why should they be punished so that lazy, deadbeats can have more? If people want money, go work for it. Stop sitting around asking for handouts, protesting to have your student loans written off, and doing nothing for society.
No that's not the case at all. People should all be able to achieve their financial dreams. However, when things get as one sided as they currently are now, than it starts to effect the health of the economy and the very livelhoods of those at the bottom. Crime rates have skyrocketed, addiction is at a very high level, and job mobility is at an all time low.
You have to look at the economic and social impacts of income distribution.
Are you actually taking up for the Westboro Protestors?
I showed that there has been "lawlessness" associated with both sides. The protest were overwhelmingly peaceful with even politicians attending until the beatings and mass arrest (where protesters weren't allowed to disperse by the way) started taking place. They seem more of an intimidation factor than an attempt to allow the protesters to do so in a safe way.
The message has been the same, since the media has just blacked them out. Which isn't surprising since the very protests are against some of their executives and owners. That part you have to understand.
Taking up for Westboro? Not at all. I rate them as an equal to Occupy. Both are worthless as pond scum, one for their message and the other for their methodology.
Occupy presently has no message except "look at us" we are protester who break the law to get attention. Occupy had a message initially, but it has been lost in criminal activity. Average Americans find Occupiers despicable

What major news outlet have you seen Occupy on lately?
Seems that the police tactic of forceful intimidation was pretty effective. Today I heard of a protester being shot in cold blood. Will try to find a link and update on the incident.
It's both the fault of Democrats AND Republicans equally. It's not a liberal or conservative issue. It's an issue that deals with the most important factor in the well-being of our country.
This guy makes good points, but he is still too caught up in the left right story. Also the phony idea that govt and big corps are separate.
