Sometimes I wonder if those two entities have risen to that stage yet. The Constitution provides that the military is to protect us from domestic and oreign enemies and it seems to many of us that one or both of them have reached the state where the military needs to protect us from them.

The Republican Controlled Congress has been nearly 500% more active than the Democrat Senate and both Houses flushed Obama's budgets down the toilet getting almost no votes because Obama is THAT GOOD! (NOT)

So this Congress is not the issue.
When we get both branches next year controlled by Republicans it will get better though.

What does the establishment telling young Congressmen to wait till after the election really mean? I think it means that they don't want to take Obama on unless he loses the election. They are gutless and I think need to be replaced at their positions. Boehner for sure.

Congress going after Obama would do little but gain Obama sympathy so close to an election IMO.

Quote of the Day: GOP and Boehner Plans to Make Obama a One Term President | The Moderate Voice
Our political Quote of the Day comes from MSNBC’s First Read, quoting The Politico — a look at what most likely soon to be Speaker of the House Rep. John Boenher and a new in-control Republican party plan to do if they gain control of the House — work to make Barack Obama a one-term President via investigations and defunding and stalling parts of Obama’s legislative victories so far:

But McConnell's comments suggest that Obama will face a far more confrontational Senate, particularly if he doesn't dramatically overhaul his agenda. And the Republican leader suggested that he's prepared to tie up the Senate floor and unite his party against some Democratic bills, which could lead to legislative gridlock and have profound repercussions across the 2012 campaign trail.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell summed up his plan to National Journal: “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”
