Rebels keep pressure on Assad, fight near government buildings

(Reuters) - Syrian rebels kept up pressure on President Bashar al-Assad following the assassination of three top lieutenants, fighting loyalist troops within sight of the presidential palace and near government headquarters, residents said on Thursday.

I predict within the month. Will Assad get a knife in the butt like Quadaffi?

Some Israelis are worried about that... "better the devil that you know"... kind of logic.
War and revolution in other parts of the ME haven't been very Israeli-friendly.

Like Saddam, Assad is a secular, multicultural leader.
