You kind of shot yourself in the foot with the bolded statement. Because there are people who love media attention you can't always depend on their statements being credible when they put their faces on camera and say stuff like they saw someone take a phone call, then open the back door and look like they were looking for someone (as in a second accomplice) like you claimed in another post. I look both ways when I step outside a door. Does that make me suspect? As for a hat, you've never taken off a hat after leaving a lobby and put it into your pocket when you enter a dark theater? Theories. Why limit yourself to just the one conspiracy theory floating around inside your head?
You're right ... the three witnesses who said they saw someone open the emergency exit really didn't see that happen. They are just looking for media attention and made made it all up.
In fact the witnesses don't even exist ... I just made them up.
And, sure, it's perfectly normal to open doors, and stick your head out a peek both ways to see if the coast is clear. Doesn't everyone?
The Founding Fathers gave us a legal way to amend the Constitution to change with the times we live it. There is no slippery slope if it's the will of the people to bring about change. It's just change. Blacks, for example, are no longer counted as property and women can vote. Those were both changes brought about by Constitutional amendments.
Exactly right. So stop trying to violate the constitution, and keep your hands off of our guns. The constitution makes provisions for change through amendment ... but it requires 3/4 of us to agree with that change, and not a small minority of leftist idiots.
My daughter used to work at a theater and sometimes she would change her clothes in the car after getting off work. Same with her coworkers. Nobody thinks twice about this kind of thing. If the movie was in progress there wouldn't be many folks in the parking lot anyway. This guy wasn't certain of anything, it's just that until he started shooting he wasn't doing anything weird enough to attract attn.
Most of those doors don't have alarms NOR SHOULD THEY because they are frequently used as exits.
That's absolutely ridiculous, absurd, untrue, and totally made up in your head ... and why would you think that anyone would believe this? Do you think that none of us have been to movie theaters? Emergency exits are not "frequently used as exits" anywhere, let alone at places that CHARGE ADMISSION for entrance. NEVER.

apparently you haven't been to a theater in years.
We frequently use the theater emergency exit as an exit, at the theater we go to, because it leads right out to the parking lot that we park in. Many people do. Why? because if we use the "normal" exit out of the theater, we would be caught up with the people who are waiting for the next showing, the morons who stand in the middle of the hallway, pass the line to the bathroom, and then out the door, which is on the OPPOSITE side of the building as the parking lot.
Not once has an usher stopped people from doing so.
I think businesses SHOULD be allowed to restrict guns from their property but in doing so should be held LIABLE for your safety.

It appears that in this case, the movie theater owners have already been named in a civil lawsuit. So, yes, businesses are already vulnerable to being held liable regarding patrons' safety in their establishments, and that vulnerability is expressed by people suing businesses in CIVIL COURT. Then it's up to the jury.

So why are you worried that there may be a change in the Constitution re 2nd Amendment? Making such a change is pretty difficult to do unless a LOT of people want a change.
^^@FF5000^^^ Because the anti-gunners along with the media continue to spew misinformation about these events to try and convince the uneducated people to take their side and achieve the majority vote/backing!
Using untrue rhetoric to sensationalize this event....exaggerating details and completely making others up unchallenged.
