More likely increased the casualties unless he happened to be a policeman.

Why would a police officer(that includes policewomen too) be any less likely to increase the casualties - if your issue is with weapons being present in the theatre?

Because by law a police officer HAS to be trained to properly handle a gum & a gun situation. I could go and legally purchase a gun, have it on me but could have very well never shot it, never used it, and never learned how to. I would be recklessly shooting a gun.

Because they are trained to handle situations like that.

Firearms carried by citizens lawfully trained and licensed to carry them will only make these places safer. I must have missed all of the incidents where mass murders at public gatherings were committed due to allowing a licensee access while carrying.

Did you not see the video of the 71 year-old man who shot the two robbers in the internet cafe?

You are absolutley wrong. Even more people would have been killed because of fear, smoke dereasing visual. Firing aimlessly in the theater would have been more of a blood bath. America--WAKE UP!

Actually, a lot of theaters use them as a way of moving patrons out of the theaters after shows.

Robbery does still not make MURDER OK in defense! What about the " 10 commandments- "Thow shalt not kill". Forget about the constitution. Heck thats only 200 years old ! and now if someone looks at you wierd the " Stand Your Ground " law is makes it OK to shoot to kill. Will human life on earth be just wiped out because everyone was toting guns kiled off their neighbours. Might as well hand it over to the "animals " now.

I doubt anyone with a CC permit would have fired given their training. Only somebody who had a clear shot would have fired. Guys with permits are not the Rambo type. Sorry to burst your bubble.
