I don't want America to be any other nation but I would love for us to see what some countries are doing right, and what some countries are doing wrong and apply it to our nation. I don't want us to be like China yet I admire the financial state of the nation no matter how much people hope China will fall, I don't want us to be like Norway but admire the Norway Pension Fund, I don't want us to be like Afganistan yet there national oil program is genius, and I could go on about what I think would be great in America but that doesn't mean I want us to become those nations. America has done well with capitalism and I'm sure a nation such as North Korea would like to apply it to there nation if they weren't stuck in Cold War era politics.
So because I do like what other nations have done, I'm un-American, less patriotic, etc? No, I just know thier is plenty room for improvement in our nation but it must start with our citizens first.
You mean liberals want the USA to be a country that institutes racial purity laws, allows absolutely no immigration or emigration, aborts or murders racially mixed babies, forbids interracial marriage, "purifies" the language and alphabet of foreign influences, and also teach racial superiority in all propaganda and education?
This is the kind of nonsense that makes Conservatives look bad.
Looks like Sweden is winning the poll. Hmmmm... Demographically, Sweden is a much more homogeneous country than the U.S.
Every country on that list is more homogeneous than the US.
I just got back from a couple weeks in Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Sweden, Finland). They were really, really nice. Very clean cities, very happy & friendly people, and really nice amenities. Expensive as heck for someone traveling on the US dollar, but still very enjoyable.
All these countries are routinely voted some of the happiest countries in the world, so they must be doing something right for their people.
Why wasn't Germany or Australia listed? Or for that matter, Kenya.
