Dear President,

You've taken some controversial stands recently on Gay marriage, Illegal Immigrants, Taxes on the Rich, Starting a Business, Etc.

It's time now, before the election and after the recent shooting to let us (the Voters) know your stance on Guns and how you think they should be controlled or restricted. Mr Obama, is the current gun laws enough and how do you interpret the 2nd amendment ?

Mr President please take a stand and clearly define your beliefs. If you want gun control let's now push this issue into the election.

President Obama .... we the voters look forward to your honest response.

Thank you for your transparency and addressing a very controversial issue.

Signed
A voter

Why do you need to ask? Obama has ALWAYS been for gun control.

It's a subject that he should address as part of his reelection. I know the answer but he should clearly define where he stands and his desired restrictions.

What a great time for him to win or lose a few more voters.

I know that the White House tracks this forum "religiously" and the President will be signing in any moment to respond to the question posed by the above anonymous user. I wonder what screen name he uses?

Gun control means using both hands.

Sign of the times that we should have to wonder where a candidate stands on our guranteed ( cough cough) rights.
