It's something I don't understand: the Repubs work for the rich and the rich includes Health Care Insurance congomerates. ObamaCarewill make billions for them when the mandate is enacted. Far as the conditions they had to agree to i.e. insuring people with pre-medical conditions--these are easily gotten around with loopholes. Yet the Repubs in the House are working furiously to overturn the ACA. So why aren't the CEO's communicating with their lapdogs in Congress, "Shut your yaps and leave our windfall alone!"

It's obvious there is a lot you don't understand. Who do you think democrats work for? The poor? You clearly don't understand Republicans or conservatives at all, but have clearly bought the liberal democrat party propaganda hook line and sinker.

Republicans hate it because the Democrats passed it. Since it's essentially a Republican idea--first proposed in a policy paper by the conservative Heritage Foundation, picked up and pushed by Republican Newt Gingrich in the '90s, and then implemented by Republican Romney in Massachusetts in 2006, it's obvious that the conservatives were all for the mandate before Obama agreed with them--then they were against it.

lets start with the fact that insurance companies are going to be required to pay out 85% of the premiums that collect, and move onto all the new taxes that obamacare has included in the law, and move further onto the 13,000 pages of new regulations being written for implementing obamacre, with thousands more on the way, to the fact that the federal government will be running health care through various panels(at least 15, perhaps more at the federal level alone), and end with the fact that this bill was advertised as going to cut health care costs when the reality is that it will increase health care costs immensely.

it also starts to force health insurance companies out of the market place by either bankrupting them, or causing them to spend so much money that it isnt worth the effort to provide health insurance, which then leads to single payer government health insurance.

there are so many things wrong with the law, that all the things that are right with the law are not enough to offset the wrongs.

Republicans are not only for the "rich"....they are for Freedom and personal responsibility......and our constitution. They are for the people.

The healthcare bill will bankrupt this country...there is simply not enough money to pay for it. We need other solutions to the rising COSTS of healthcare. We HAVE great providers and treatments...it's the COST of it that's the problem! I maintain that if they charged reasonable prices, more folks could actually PAY for their care....even without insurance! There's no reason that an MRI should cost thousands of dollars.....(yes, I know the machine is expensive, but they use it so much, it's paid for in the 1st couple of months!!)...few can come up with $3500 out of pocket. Make the COST of treatments more reasonable, and more could pay, and they would be able to charge less, since everything is being paid for.
Right now, the mentality is that no one wants to pay a dime for seeing a doctor.....and that's just wrong.

They didn't want the Democrats to pass the law due to the momentum they thought they would get so they decided to oppose it. The real stupidity of things was that it was a Republican proposal from the 90's.

Perhaps because your assumptions are wrong?

I know you may find this hard to believe but the Republicans in the 90's were capable of being stupid too. Just like the Democrats today.

The fact is Obamacare will further increase the escalation of healthcare premiums.
