So he read the article, took his gun to see the movie and then decided to go kill his former boss...

Yeah that's all kinds of crazy

Doesn't sound like he carried the weapon to the movie with nefarious intentions. He probally just wanted to say that so he could get nationwide attention. Lot's of people clip stories about major news events.

This guy sounds like an attention seeker - but the left will of course blow the story all out of proportion and use it to attack the 2nd Amendment.

Go to see Batman in Texas and half the audience will have a gun... No big deal in that alone.

I attended Finding Nemo, with a gun in my pocket and my daughter & wife sitting right next to me.

Should I go to jail?

That theater in Texas was much safer than the theater in Aurora.

It is dangerous to have only one weapon in an area - whose wielder has evil intentions.

Many weapons with wielders who wish to do good - makes for a safe environment.

that depends~are you banned from carry for some reason (felon)~ is there a law prohibiting carry~ or was the theater posted no guns?

if yes then probably~ if not then no

lawbreaking to carry should not be allowed but carry is permitted a lot of places
