Batman Colorado shooting: James Holmes fixated by altered states of mind - Telegraph
Of all the media coverage I've read and heard about his, and I live in Colorado, I have never heard that Holmes told the detectives any such thing. I'll wait for a more reliable source than a Britsh newspaper.

Would it have been a violation of his rights after arrest to have taken a couple of vials of his blood for tox. screening?

I mean it would be nice to know if this nut was a self-inflicted nut or just another coming unhinged through nature.

If I was a judge; it would be handy to know, during the penalty phase of sentencing, if he should just get the one chemical trip or the whole tri-fecta.

Just about any source is going to be more reliable than the OP's link.

It would appear as through the suspect was an abuser of both illegal drugs and prescription pain killers per at least one of the linked reports.

How much vicodin would this nutcase have taken. I have had vicodin often, after having surgeries, or infections. I never went nuts, taking any prescribed medication.

But i do know with each drug, they do have symptoms to watch for.

Took my needed pain away, which was needed.

I truly believe there are more cases of violence with people on drugs versus pot.

I"ve taken Vicodin too. Makes you feel good. I would think the biggest crime for someone on Vicodin would be burglary, etc, to get money for more Vicodin. I think we need to wait until something comes out from an "Official" source before we assume he was a drug crazed person.

Gonna have to research that one.

Honestly, even with a medical background and having indulged a few times myself, that's a new one for me.
