Most likely because he was pretty sure he was dead just like Obama found out when he became president he was dead. This whole thing was drummed up because they F'd up a mission in paki territory where they shouldn't have been in the first place to cover their butts. Or you continue to believe the nonsense story they tossed him into the sea.

Barak Obama is awesome because he swam accross two oceans, slipped into Pakistan by stealth and stuck UBL in the neck with an icepick ending the long and costly war between agents of terror and the west.

Without The One life as we know it would involve those little simmer arm blow up thingies because the oceans would now cover the rockies, everyone would talk mooslim and french would be the only legal language.

or some such.

oh and Bill Clinton rocks!

It's not just would Romney have given the go-ahead. It's whether Romney, McCain, Bush, etc would have even been in the position to give the order. From their statements, none of them would have even pursued the leads into Pakistan, so they would not have found Osama. The only reason we the gov't found Osama was b/c Obama shifted to focus to Pakistan and followed the leads developed through that focus.

The question is "How long did it take from the time they discovered, confirmed he was at that location until they took him out? " Weeks, months? What is the time line?

You people don't really think the Bin Laden thing was Obama's decision, do you? He merely gave the OK for something that came recommended by those who actually knew a thing or two.

That's a sad video because it shows how arrogant and unthinking dems are.
I doubt that you have enough hair on your groin to say this to a Seal or any member of his family.

I think perhaps he deserves credit but the Seals and those who worked on this missio for years thru two presidents deserve the major credit.
