When you see the two speeches side by side, you have to believe Obama was copying Mitt's speech---the very speech that Mitt is now criticizing the content of. He's such a flip-flopper, can't recognize his own thoughts when they are repeated by others.
This is just insanity. Mitt was in no way attempting to justify the confiscation of $$$ from those who earned it because they "really didnt earn it". OBAMA WAS.

that's not addressing the points i made. at the very least the three claims i pointed out are false, and easily proven so. nothing obama has or hasn't done changes the fact that those "miracles" are actually untrue.

Anyway, here is a recap for those that don't care to watch.
First, he doesn't like the President pointing out that, government loans, government roads, and your employees hard work and sweat often help to build successful business in this country.
NO ONE is saying that successful business owners are lazy, or didn't work hard, or didn't strive to build a business that thrives. No one is saying they aren't smart.
Just that, you didn't get there alone. I know this for a fact because, although my grandfather worked his butt off to build a business that feed his kids and put me on a good path for the future, he also had a hell of a lot of employees that helped him along the way. He took a government small business loan to start his business.
So no, he didn't get there alone, but with a lot of personal effort, he did well.
Thats what the President was saying.
The rest of it is nothing but a bunch of birther and college transcript conspiracy theories.

I knew what answer lefties that took the trouble to watch that one would come back with and you are the first one, obviously, who watched it. However, I didn't see that the rest of it, not the "you didn't do that" part was what you say. I guess if you aren't a birther you have to just keep away from this place since you will be called a racist and/or a birther for not liking Obama. I am sorry because if I didn't see him trying so hard to evolve us into a European style socialist state I would not dislike him at all.
the three "miracles" i can debunk off the top of my head:
- there has never been a travel ban to pakistan for US citizens
- none of his academic or medical records are "sealed". they are private records and are protected under law.
- there is no requirement for the president of the harvard law revue to be published.
If there is no requirement for the President of the Harvard Law Review to write reviews why have all of them besides Obama done so? Do they have a special racial rule about all but blacks doing so? That could be it.
Will Obama have that little thing implanted in his body so the people in DC can keep up with him that the rest of us have to have according to Obamacare? Oh no, they made the President and Congressmen free to keep getting their care the same as always.
Could you provide me with some proof of the fact that our citizens were allowed to go to Pakistan in 1981? Maybe the State Dept. could supply you with the words.
No, he said that you didn't get there alone. There is a difference. Not every smart and hard working person makes it in this country, that's capitalism.
To point out that a teacher, preacher, your employees, Eisenhower's interstate system, your electrical grid, etc all helped York business succeed.
That isn't an insult, that's a reality.
He was advocating for highway funding. Something most people say we badly need. Better then wasting money on a third fed audit every year. It'd be nicer to have roads, and overhaul the tax system so men who make millions have to pay some income tax.
Do I see you talking about the fact that The Fed is audited two times per year now? You did say that having a third one would be silly. How about a first one?
Did the man say "You didn't build that" or not? Take those words, put them in context with the rest of the speech and you have something that it has taken libs 2 weeks to try to walk back.

oldboy, where is your evidence that all of the presidents of the harvard law revue have been published? i've looked and i can find nothing that confirms your belief. if i am wrong then please support your claim with some actual evidence.

I found while doing your research for you that he had never written a review while at Harvard. I also found that he had said that nobody every reads those things, either. Maybe that is the reason.
I also read one place that he never wrote much of anything since he was not a good writer. Remember what many say about who wrote one or both of his autobiographies.
Anyway I brought this little thing for you to read although I doubt you will read much, if any of it.
Mitt flips on every topic, but this one was even more expected because his Olympics speech mirrors Obama's speech almost word for word. Every time he brings it up, he is basically ripping himself.
Have you bothered to place those two things side by side and then see how much alike they are? Have you ever considered the fact that one was speaking to an international audience and the other to a largely local and colloquial audience? Maybe you need to try taking that tack. I have.
