A-OK with me. As soon as the incest rights crowd comes around, if we don't have some valid, compelling reasons to not allow it, beyond, "It's gross" or "It's immoral," then really what business is it of you or me - or ultimately, the government.

Some of the countries that recognize legal same sex marriage: Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Canada, Israel, Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, etc. Also certain states or parts of the following countries have legalized it: Mexico, Uruguay, and the United States.

there are many christian churches that have no issues with homosexuality.. christ afterall said NOTHING about the topic.. it is only in old testament.. which if you're a christian is the old law anyway..
The Old Testament technically says nothing about it either. It's referring to pagan prostitution. It may have included members of the same-sex in some of their rituals, but it sure as heck was not talking about your average gay person.
The Old Testament also never condemns lesbians. Lesbians are homosexuals too.
These gay haters know nothing about the Bible, however.
1. opposing SSM is not the same as opposing homosexuality
2. Paul is clear in the New Testament that he opposes homosx
3. The gospels of NT show that marriage should be between man and woman.
Paul was not clear in the slightest. Paul didn't speak English. The verses you are relying on are not what Paul said, they're what a publishing company are claiming Paul meant. How do you know what Paul meant by a word he fabricated 2000 years ago? Were you there with him when he used it?

Factually incorrect. Never has Paul been claimed to be condemning homosexuality until 1958 A.D. Classical literature, including Paul's contemporaries specifically spell out that was not what Paul was talking about. You do realize the word you're claiming Paul used to condemn gays, has meant numerous things throughout history, including masturbation (still listed that way in certain Bibles) and kidnapping right? In classical literature, EVERY single use of that word refers to economic crimes.

The Nicene Council didn't exist when Paul wrote his letters, and the Nicene Council was made up of fallible humans.

Because he wanted at least a large portion of the population to procreate. He didn't want the entire population to procreate as that leads to overpopulation. Which is you why you find homosexuality as a universal phenomenon in the animal kingdom, and a requirement for the survival of most species.
