In addition to that....

Every State that elected a Republican governor in 2010 have seen unemployment go down.

States can secure positive bond ratings

changes saved the hardworking taxpayers more than $1 billion, helped lower property taxes for the first time in 12 years on a median-valued home and turned a budget deficit into a surplus.

That's conservatives for you...cut taxes for those at the top and give the finger to the bottom third of taxpayers, who got squat.

And burger flippers probably became worse off in most of those states. Just guessin'.

Ummmm....this begs for more explanation.

Are you annoyed that unemployment is down in those States? Is that somehow a bad thing?

I would also "guess" that "burger flippers" aren't any better or worse off than they were before they elected Republican governors.

But seeing unemployment go down is always a good thing in my mind and the fact that every state which elected a Republican governor saw their's decrease certainly is a teachable moment is it not?

This isn't about anyone "getting" anything. Is that all liberals ever think about? Getting things from someone else?

...It lowered everyone's state and local taxes.

first time in Wisconsin’s history, we’ve set aside money for the rainy day fund in back-to-back fiscal years. In other words, we thought more about the next generation than we did about the next election.

According to a recent Pew Center study, Wisconsin is the only state pension system in the country that is fully funded

Wisconsin moved up 12 spots on CNBC’s America’s Top States for Business rankings and 21 spots on Chief Executive magazine rankings. Our unemployment rate is consistently below the national rate.
Part of the reason for lower taxes is that our school districts are saving hundreds of thousands of dollars , because we are no longer being forced to buy that overpriced health care insurance that those union contracts demanded we buy.

The property taxes for their restaurants went down, which means more money to stay in business, upgrade old equipment etc...

unemployment down --> more people working (unless unemployment is down because ppl gave up looking for work, which is NOT the case in Wisconsin) --> more household formation (unemployed Junior gets a job, finds his own apt and moves out of Mom's basement) --> rental vacancies decline --> landlords raise rents --> burger flipper is now worse off
