Good try, but that is not how things work...in a scientific world. We cannot disprove that Neptune does not live at the bottom of the ocean, but does that mean that he is there?

I believe in global warming. There is plenty of sketchy science out there, but it's idiotic to protest against some problems with the GW camp and completely ignore the agenda that exists with the anti-GW camp.

I don't wish to be forced to financially support either position.

Nobody can prove it exists.

Science proved its existence some time ago. I thought you were posting about deities/the supernatural.

Many people for some reason seem to have a desire to believe there is a person much greater/smarter powerful then them.

Be it god, mindless worship of people in power/presidents/governers ect/ royalty. Ect ect ect.

I don't understand it and probably never will.......

First of all, the "climate change" hoax has nothing to do with faith. "Climate change" fear mongering is simply a crowbar that they use to help advance their sociopolitical agenda. We all know that. They don't believe or not believe. Global warming is a tool.

But if you, for the moment and purpose of the discussion, frame their stance as "faith"....and in the next breath go on to the familiar laundry list of nonsensical religious beliefs still held for reasons inexplicable in 2012, what you are saying is "hey, look at me! My faith is 100 times as silly as yours!"
Man oh man did you pound that nail!

And all this time I thought he and the tooth fairy were shacked up!
