This was last November, but I hadn't heard about it. The VFW loves it and calls it a "win win" for everybody in this months VFW magazine.

We Can't Wait: Obama Administration Announces New Initiatives to Get Veterans Back to Work | The White House

One of the provisions would be a permanent tax credit for businesses which hire Veterans, and even more for wounded Veteran's, but that's part of the American Jobs Act which the GOP has been stonewalling now for 9 months.

After Stonewalling Obama's Jobs Package, Republicans Complain About GDP Growth | ThinkProgress

Other than denying business's credit for hiring Veteran's, what else has the GOP done for Veteran's lately?

Legislating prosperity with employee tax credits won't do any good if no one is hiring. This guy must be hitting the bong again. Nice try obummer. I'm sure the veterans are all too ready for some "hope and change". Mainly change. Time to go back to that community activist gig, where performance and results are not so significant.

He seems to be quite talented at flapping his gums though, I'll give him that. Sure, he talks and nothing of material worth comes out, but people still buy the act. Maybe he should pursue stand up comedy instead. He's had a great act going for the past few years, but somehow, I don't think that's what he was elected for.

Actually, it is Senator Reid doing the stonewalling, not the GOP.
