They are programmed for life from birth with the hallucination that no there is no safety or security without a gun in one hand and a bible in the other.

Worse than not stopping our national slide into obscurity, the mindset they so stubbornly cling to, which in the political realm is associated with conservatism, accelerates it by branding conservatives as extremist kooks. The leftist extremism that is fast ripping apart the fabric of America could be stopped quickly in its tracks if only the guns and religion crowd would quit fueling the political machinery of the left.
