Well it's not such a secret anymore, now is it?

I see a lot of Repubs slamming the administration for covertly supporting the downfall of the Assad Regime. Syria has one of the largest standing armies in the middle east. They are and have been a threat to Israel for decades. They have provided a direct conduit for Hezbollah and the Iranian Republican Guards in Lebanon. The bigger picture in Syria is basicly a fight between Shiite and Sunni. Iran, a Shiite dominated nation supports Assad while the rebels are mostly Sunni and are recieving arms and support from Saudi Arabia. Of course we will provide covert support for the rebels. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend".

I would be very surprised if we did not have people on the ground working to try and keep control of chemical weapons.

They only hate war when a Republican is President.

Gotta ask yourselves; why work hand in hand to give these countries over to the Muslim Brotherhood? What's in it for him? Lecture tour of radical Mosques? Another Nobel Peace prize? Seasons tickets to the Burkha Ball?
