trying to understand it is..... I recall better weather reporing back in the 50's. These days not so much, and I think becuae a majority of people don't go out so much as before.
Any mild natural rain these days is called a storm, as is any snow in winter.
The plain truth is science doesn't know global squat, but it does know the earth was covered in ice before and was also all tropical in other past times..

Of course, in real science, the burden of proof is to disprove the null hypothesis. The balance of data thus far seems to refute the concept of man-made global warming. Thus, the "theory" of global warming is very, very shaky, at best.
At this point, man-made global warming is unproven conjecture and has not held up to rigid scrutiny. Those who embrace man-made global warming as fact are the antithesis of valid science and simply make fools of themselves by declaring this hoax to be "proven true". Obviously these proponants have never conducted an actual bench experiment, never written a paper for a peer reviewed scientific journal, have never reviewed any scientific papers as a part of the editorial process and have no knowledge of statistics.
In short, if you have no actual professional experience in conducting bench science and writing in the literature, your views are amateurish and ill conceived at best. It simply makes you look ridiculous.
