Earlier in July, Zimmerman filed a motion in circuit court saying Zimmerman cannot get a fair trial because Lester used "gratuitous, disparaging" language in his second bail order.
"Mr. Zimmerman has lost faith in the objectivity of this court and has a reasonable, well-founded fear that he will not receive a fair trial by this court," his defense attorney said in the document.

That's funny. His wife lied about how much money they had... .they talked in code about how to hide the money and about his other passport. You know, he gave up one, but kept the other. The judge wails into him for it, and now, they want a new judge because the liar can't get a fair trial there?

Jailhouse phone calls between the couple showed George Zimmerman had instructed his wife to transfer $74,000 from his bank account before the April bond hearing, prosecutors said in an affidavit. She transferred the money to her account, then transferred it back after bond was set at $150,000.
The couple also discussed Zimmerman’s second passport, stashed in his safe deposit box, which -- coupled with the cash -- would let the couple flee the country if necessary, prosecutors said.
“The defendant is manipulating the system to his own benefit,” Lester wrote in Thursday's decision. “Notably, together with the passport, the money only had to be hidden for a short time for him to leave the country.”

I don't thnk the judge was being disparaging. I think he was using common sense.

George Zimmerman is innocent and should have been set free months ago. The legal system and news media have decided to railroad George Z because they are afraid of massive black riots that will result in the killing of innocent people and widespread looting. Without a doubt Zimmerman cannot get a fair trial.

Regardless of how Zimmerman has handled his finances the fact is that he should have never been charged in the first place.

Exactly! Somehow I don't think the GZ would be happy with any judge because he can't call the shots. That judge let him go out of state with first bond hearing and that very rarely happens.

so from what you have written here, all defendants are guilty until proven innocent, right?

His own lawyer admits Zimmerman was talking in code and hiding money. Are you calling his lawyer a liar?

I said in another thread that Zimmerman is/was a liar. I don't know how any of his "supporters" just believe him after all of his lies he has said and the different stories he has told about events relating to the death of the young man he killed let alone he and his wife's chicanery regarding the hidden money. He and she should be charged with perjury as well.

It is hilarious IMO that he thinks the judge is judging him to harshly. That is what judges are supposed to do - judge.

He should have been charged because he shot and killed someone. Anytime someone gets killed someone should get some sort of charge and if the judge uses his/her judgement and drops the charge based on evidence, then fine, but to say he shouldn't have been charged is just ridiculous since someone was killed and the only person who truly knows what happened is the killer. If that is the case then anyone who wants to kill someone need only take them in the woods and shoot that person to ensure they will never be charged with murder.

Railroaded???

Granted bond, provided with legal council, afforded a trial with a jury of his peers???

If this is a train it must be the local.

Default Judge denies delay in Zimmerman's June trial

Today would have been Trayvon Martin's birthday, he would have been 18 years old. RIP Trayvon.

Judge denies delay in Zimmerman's June trial

Quote:
lawyers for George Zimmerman, the man accused of murdering the teen, and prosecutors were back in court where a judge denied a motion to delay the June 10 trial date and heard arguments about evidence.

Innocent of what? There was enough evidence to charge him with second degree murder. I thought that was the purpose of a trial. Although the burden of proof is on the prosecution to prove that he is guilty of the crime charged, his defense attorney will need to prove that he is innocent.

But since you are making your statement with such certainty and the trial has taken place, I would like to know how you know that he is innocent. If you have proof that he is innocent I'm sure his defense attorney would be happy to see/hear it.
