Gee, "life begins at conception" and "homosexuality is wrong" are two big ones I can think of.
And these 2 go back much further than 200 years.

Religion didn't enslave the Blacks, the quest for money did.

For example in many countries with less religious people, such as netherlands, denmark and sweden more civil liberties are permitted.

Places such as Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel do not.

The conservative right here toots the morality card but their hypocrisy is easily seen by the intelligent class in this country who wishes to be more secular.

So you think Sweden is uncivilized? And Mexico is civilized? How about Somalia? Guess which one of those three is the most stable? Sweden. And guess which one is the least religious? Sweden.

Try explaining your theory to someone that lives in China or even better North Korea...I can't think of a country where government completely controls it's citizen's personal lives and is officially atheist.

Religion itself may not be the problem, but religion taken too literally or strictly is. Here in America, as well as Europe, we have loosened WAY up on religion. Only 26% of Americans attend church every week. We keep religion out of the law as well. Look to the Dark Ages or the current Middle East to see life in a place where religion is taken too seriously.

At least in the US, the most extreme people get with religion is the WBC. In the Middle East, you get terrorist organizations.

One also has to wander if the ontelligent class is so smart why they want to share the wealth of others? Why not just create wealth since they are so intelligent?

Except those two countries aren't oppressing their people in the name of atheism. And NK hardly promotes atheism. It promotes the cult of the Dear Leader, which you could say is the de facto religion.

The Islamic Republics do oppress based on their religion.

Many of the slave owners were highly religious. And they used their religion as a justification for their actions.

In general, people with extreme ideals - both conservative AND liberal - tend to think they have the mandate to push gross restrictions on others. We've seen this with certain idealist atheists and with extremely religious types. Both of those extreme territories produce bad things for society.

Well this is a fail of an argument. Strawman and ad hominem. If white people was the key to a stable society than Europe wouldn't have been in chaos for centuries. And Russia wouldn't be in chaos now.

Never said I didn't like different races, nor did I say I don't like religion, and I certainly don't identify with Hitler. A nice straw man and of course why not throw in the ad hominem attack.
