As opposed to what? A pipe bomb? Mass poisoning? Dehydration? Starvation?
Guns are good at targeting, after that how many you can take out depends on the weapon. I don't see a shortage in the near future of people willing to kill people.

Aren't you the party who blasts Christians for meeting in church and having a somewhat organized religion? What about these people? Did they, too, deserve to die. Why isn't the left blasting them for their beliefs?
I honestly can't tell if the left is just plain too dumb to see what they are or if they're practicing the art of deflection. Maybe a little of both, but mostly the dumb bit.

Children should be taught about safe gun handling early on however that is not the same as arming them. Here in the US we fail to protect the children by arming well trained security (multiple trained officers) at our schools. That is a huge mistake, IMO. Israel learned after their children were shot/killed in the schools by Palastinian terrorists. They protect their greatest assest; their children. The US, not so much.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of those killed or injured in this sensless attack.
People that want to commit violence are going to find another way to do it if you take away their guns.
Instead of people getting shot, you just might see bombs going off.
In case you haven't noticed, I didn't give an opinion on the actual thread topic.
