Congressman and former Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul likes to depict himself as a political outsider, someone who tells it straight because he doesn't owe anybody any favors. Why is it, then, that of all the hundreds of members of the U.S. House of Representatives, Ron Paul ranks among the highest in terms of campaign donations from large banks? Ron Paul is third highest out over over 400 members of the House, taking in huge amounts of money funneled to him by banks through their employees. Think about it, and it makes sense. Ron Paul, as a fair-weather libertarian, is against big government... except when he writes big earmarks for companies that support his little political empire.

Not that you have ever really had any cred . . . but you really haven't helped yourself.
Ron Paul was the only House member running for president. It doesn't take a brainiac to understand that a presidential candidate will take in far more than someone only running statewide.
