MR isn't going to fight this, nor does he need to. After the NAMBLA and mob tie accusations, this results a stalemate between HR (perceived to be Obama's proxy) and MR's proxy supporters. MR need not get involved unless something legitimate gets out. In debates, if questioned, he just needs to ask for Obama's transcripts (he won't ask for birth cert for fear of being called a "birther") or say that the IRS knows more than Obama and Reid and they say he's fine.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Good one!

The NAMBLA is just gravy. It garners more credibility since Harry has some very dodgy financial ties since being a Senator. Far more dodgy than Romney. People don't like the IRS so some empathize with MR, but they hate mobsters even more. Whether the NAMBLA accusation is true or not, it's flooding the internet and preempting MR's tax returns. Therefore, a stalemate.

There isn't a single moderate or independent for whom anything Harry Reid says or does will influence their vote in November. Not a one. There are some within those groups, however, who could be turned off by things in Mitchell's tax returns that indicate he is a genuine *******. People want to like the people for whom they vote. Actually, the Santorum campaign understood this in the primary season when they started bringing up the dog episode. Do an experiment. Tell some people not particularly interested in politics the details of the dog episode and observe their reactions, particularly females. It's indicative of character. The Santorum campaign understood this. Being a tight wad who straps the family pet to the roof of the car are fabulous indicators of schmuckery.

You're beyond reaching or even stretching at this point.

Eating dog is indicative of bad character also. Do people other than anti-Obama people really care?

You want it to matter, but in reality even my liberal wife hates the IRS especially since we're earning 4x what we earned last year. If she hates them, what hope does Reid have in using the details of boring and hated tax returns as leverage for moderates?

Going to say it how many times on this forum. Have a realitive who is a CPA ACCOUNTANT, for some very high profile people, wish i knew.

He has stated to me over and over again, no way Romeny has not paid taxes for the amount of time Reid claims! because the IRS would have been knocking at his door a long time ago. He said bull to Reid's claims.

However i don't believe Reid is as clean as they come. And would not doubt that he has ties to the L.V. Mob scene.

He seems the sneaky type to me.

This is true - the Martin Scorsese movie - Casino - is based on the true story of organized crime figure Frank Rosenthal (Sam Rothstein in the movie). In turn the currupt gaming commisioner authority role, the one that pulled Rothstein's gaming license in retaliation for firing his brother-in-law, is based on Harry Reid who was a gaming commisioner at the time.
One does wonder how a career politician like himself, serving in the public for over 40 years, became a millionaire.

Well, using the well of the Senate to put out all his lies will someday have to be atoned for. Political campaigns aren't supposed to be run from that spot in DC. Unethical behavior by a lefty is what I call all this.

My sister in law worked for the IRS in DC for thirty years. Even worked in Rome for a couple years at the US consulate. She said anybody can cheat on their taxes and it won't be caught right away but in a year or two like you say they will come knocking. And if you owe and don't pay they will be breaking your door down right outta the gate. Trying to destroy Romney's character the "chicago way" is all they have left. I think it's too late for that too though. Folks will be looking for change this time around but not buying the change the orator sold last time. They've seen enought lies and the BS agenda. I predict a landslide in the general and congress and the house all in the hands of republicans. This isn't a good thing usually but it's better than having a cadre a communists running DC with their czars and exec orders and destroy America at all cost attitude and actions.
