Bill, a married father of two - four votes
Jane, a single mother of three - four votes
John, a married father of seven - nine votes
Lisa, a single college student living alone - one vote
George, a single college student with two roommates - three votes (George is the designated head of household, his roommates do not vote)

This also ensures that children, who have legitimate interests in the common good, are fairly represented at the ballot box.
One problem with this. What if the husband(head of household) and his wife disagree on a topic? What if his children disagree with him on a topic?

What if the roommates disagree on a topic?

You neglect that each person who of legal age to vote, an age in which a person has the capability to fully understand why they are voting and what they are voting for.

A child of 8 years old isn't old enough to vote as they don't understand what their vote can do.

Lots of families have pets that they consider to be part of their family. Lets not neglect their interest in your voting scheme. Dogs, cats, canaries, turtles, and guppies should have a voice, too.

What if the wife makes more than her husband?
Is she considered the head of household then?

You do realize singles pay more in taxes than married couples right?

As they should be.

But it's not a perfect world. Women who are heads of household should be allowed to represent their families at the ballot box.
what if the mother in the Father Disagree, if only one of them can vote and its a family of 4 its a 4-0 votes not 1-1.

It took you ten years of thinking to come up with an idea this bad?

It reminds me of a piece of advice that you sometimes hear the Car Guys give out, and I think it applies here: "If you don't think too good, don't think too much."

So if it's a family unit with two adult parents, the MAN gets to vote and decide for the wife, and she gets to stay barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen where she belongs?

You spent ten years basically thinking up...life in 1905? That is pretty pathetic, and that observation only took me ten seconds.
