No. You don't care, I don't care what you think or feel about our government. It irks me to no end though when people who didn't vote complain about the government.
No, if forced than your voting for the party that tells you what they want you to know. Be your own person and vote if you wish or stay home if ill informed.

You are irked because there are those who won't compromise their moral or ethical standards to vote for someone who is in direct conflict with them?
I remember civics class years ago--and I mean many years. We were told that people in the Russian satellite countries back then thought that surely in America we did not have the freedom to vote because if so, everybody would vote.
No, we are a free country and that means that we can choose to vote or choose not to vote. Sometimes people do not care which person wins and should not have to choose if they don't want to. But to the person that does not like to hear complaints from those who do not vote, they have as much right to complain as anyone else if they are American citizens.
However I am a little tired of hearing those that are here illegally complain. Go home to where you came from and change your country to a livable place.
If the number of eligible voters who don't vote, voted for the same third party candidate. That candidate would easily win.
In our state we have partisan primaries. I once asked for a write-in ballot in the primary and was told that I could only choose one of the people on the ticket. That changes with the November election. In November, you can vote for Mickey Mouse if you want to. I agree with you. I wish everyone that does not like the main candidates would go and write in the name of the person they would really like to be president. I think that is the best hope for America.
We do seem to be brainwashed into believing that only two party candidates have a chance to win. Only if we let them.

I am not convinced either way, but it would certainly bring a lot more candidates into the mix. If nothing else, it would cost special interests groups more to buy the elections.
