Some federal pensions pay handsome rewards

Over 21,000 Federal employees paid 6 figures to NOT work. The kicker is, most of them probably "retired" from their job to get their pension, then re-applied for the now-open position, got their old job back, and are earning their salary on top of their pension.

And don't feed me any of that "but they paid into the pension!" crap....I'm pretty sure none of them put 2-3 million dollars into it, which is what they're taking out.

Always amazes me how the extreme side of the left can rail and rail against anyone who makes 6 figures as "making too much"....unless the government is handing those people 6 figures to not do anything, in which case it's OK.

This, and a few other things, are examples of why we need a complete overhaul. There can be no "sacred cows" when it comes to finances and no "but we have a contract" from unions. Those days are over and it's going to be painful to change but it has to be done.

But aren't we being told by the left that the ideas of Paul Ryan to rein in spending would be disastrous? If all those federal retirees did not get their $100,000 pensions, all hell would break loose; people would die in the streets, starve, it'd be like a new dark ages, etc.
