UGH, US democracy at work again. This country is looking more and more like we are returning to the Guilded Age only with a less violent middle class.

And people, stop saying its a Republican or Democrat thing, BOTH parties are for the benefit of the rich and could care less about everyone else.

We do. This is nothing but trying to make excuses for politicians that will not do their jobs because of the massive amount of money they are gave.

The links and corrosponding links lays it all out really well but politicians simply refuse to prosecute them. Not because they can't.

It's really not the politicians fault either, it's those like yourself that will defend them.

This is also the problem. McCain would have done no better and Romney isn't about to either. It is NOT a problem with only one party.

When have banksters gotten away with this before? Let's see how bad this really is, regardless of the political party involved.

Just thought i'd point out the lack of liberals on this thread. How is it that Wall Street is so bad under George W. Bush, but liberals can't find it within themselves to condemn the Obama Administration for the same cronyism?

Funny how Neil Bush didn't.

Why So Few Ended Up in Jail After the Financial Crisis
Since 2000, the Office of Thrift Supervision has not referred a single case of fraud to the Justice Department, according to The New York Times. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has referred just three cases.

Looks like it has been happening since your buddy Bush was in office.
Don't lay all of this at Obama's feet.

That's because 800 financial executives went to prison after the savings and loan crisis of the early '90s. By 2000, most of the prosecutions had been completed.

McCain would have done no better. I imagine he still has some huge IOU's out there from when he escaped prosecution.
