That's excellent. Now there won't be any more crying to Congress to "create jobs" for people.

One can get up to $400/week on unemployment. Why would they choose $7.95/hour over $400/week ?

Well there are alot of jobs that they are having trouble finding because people aren't qualified. These tend to be technical or science related jobs.

THE number of jobs available in the United States has risen to its highest level in four years, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said this week, providing more evidence that the job market is slowly recovering.

There were 3.8 million job openings at the end of June, up 105,000 from the previous month and the most since July 2008. That is also 1.6 million more openings than when the market hit bottom in July 2009…

Maybe once UE benefits start running out people will apply for jobs again.

The OP is grasping at straws here trying to blame job openings on Republicans. Did he conveniently forget the Democrats controlled the House & Senate from 2007 to 2010? Should we blame Democrats for the fact that these 3.8 million jobs are not filled since Progressives & unions largely control the public schools? Perhaps if folks had recieved a real education and skills instead of PC cultural studies and everyone getting a trophy every job would already be filled by a "real American".

A lot of companies advertise for workers but have no intention to hire anyone unless they actually need too. Even the government advertises jobs that it will never fill.

At the worst of the economy, I was seeing help wanted signs all over the place and nobody would take the jobs.. We have developed a nanny state and people have lost their dignity.

Do you really think this?

Do you think these 3.8 million jobs are just sitting there because everyone that works is worth $50 an hour.
