most adults don't even know the bad parts of the bible, since pastors/teachers skip over it. my mom at age 60 read about this gang rape ,murder,dismemberment of a prostitute in the bible and didn't speak for 2 days because she was mortified.
Men can get depraved really quickly and know no boundaries without the direction of God.. God does not mince words . He is truthful . God had to destroy the earth with rain in the days of Noah because men had become so depraved.
Men are enticed by evil spirits to commit the lowest of acts . It is a history of man and their sins and lack of moral decency that is described fully in the bible.

Maybe it is in reference to the giants in those days. Do not think that God holds back the truth. He speaks as he wants. He created it all and that includes the destroyer the devil. God is always in control and knows all the words of everyone from beginning to end. God is not mocked. He does as he pleases.
