The only people Romney and Ryan will force austerity upon are the middle and lower classes. The rich and corporations will not only continue to receive the welfare they receive now, but they will receive even more in the form of tax cuts.
So what will it be...a vote to contine spending money we don't have, to continue to drive the debt up by more than a trillion dollars a year, one of the longest recessions on record, long term destruction of our economic system and the reward of corruption and incompetance. In other words, more hopie/chaigie.
Or a vote for a degree of fiscal responsibility.
What will be your choice?
You do realize that Paul Ryan voted for many of the fiscally irresponsible things that plague this nation now, correct? The wars, the bailouts, subsidies for industries that don't need them, etc.

One would expect that out of Romney but Obama? What happened?

Yup. That's the gist of it. The politicians in Washington may parade under the guise of being Democrat or Republican, but they are all really just lackeys of oligarchs and corporations.
