Sure voter fraud happens thru abuse of absentee ballots every election, but these ID laws DO NOT address that do they. They address a problem, in person voter fraud, that DOES NOT exist.
So, you're saying that the act of voting now becomes a multi-step process that begins several months before an election??? Miss a deadline in August and you cannot vote in November??? Seem fair to you?

With Voter ID for in person voting you would know it didn't happen.
Absentee needs to be addresed as well but that will be a different approach, different problem.
