Not sure I understand what your point is.

"If the owner were merely speaking an opinion, I doubt this vandalism would even have occurred."

Are you suggesting that someone associated with Chic-Fil-A did something that somehow justifies or excuses vandalism and bomb threats or that the retaliation which occurred is in response to anything but protected speech?

Fantasizing about party membership becoming a prerequisite for doing the nasty?

Perhaps who is or is not fit to breed should be decided by breeders.

Nope, not at all.

Please follow the line of conversation, as I'm tired of explaining what were direct answers to specific comments. If you want my opinion on the above question, it's already been covered from pretty much my first post.

No, although I'm not sure donations qualify as "speech" - but still no. Again, if you follow the conversation you'll understand my statements a little better.

That's precisely the point. If the perpetrators of this episode of vandalism had come forward, or committed their acts in public, it would have at least demonstrated their willingness to "accept the penalty." As it was, they did it in secret, when no one was around.

Instead of "expressing respect for the law", they have shown abject cowardice.

I don't see any of those vandals in jail - which makes your civil disobedience defense rather hollow.

These criminal incidents are yet another poor reflection on the homosexual.
