The Obamas used all kinds of things to get at certain people and then they tore into Romney about not paying any taxes at all. Do many of you remember the way they tried to use the Buffet noise about his secretary. I wonder just how much she must be paid per year. Some say over $200,000 and that she recently bought a second home replete with swimming pool and professional putting green. Surely she must make a pile to be able to buy things like that.

Have the Obamas yet said anything about rate other than the term "tax rate" and how often have they used any numbers about those rates? I don't remember seeing any of those things.

Is there a chance that few of the 47% of non-payers of income tax will vote for Romney? Surely they will vote for the Welfare Giver in charge especially since he has made it easier for them to get paid by not having to look for work.

Hey Roy, only 14% of the population doesn't pay any tax.

Dude, you used to be level headed, but now all you seem to post is the same partisan, one sided, half truth mess that leads the country to uninformed decisions at the ballot box.

why?

It's A Myth That 47% Of Americans Pay No Taxes, In Truth 86% Pay Taxes

More [SIZE=2][SIZE=2]

Since the OP is discussing the tax RATE, someone who didnt want to hijack and divert from the thread would know he's talking about income taxes.

And everyone knows that 1/2 of americans DO NOT PAY INCOME TAXES..

Read the entire article. You are breaking down individual groups, head of households, single, married filers and looking at their percentages.

Again, the overall number is around 14% that pay no taxes.

We all pay the same tax rate "except those that pay no taxes at all"?

Fair enough?

Obama isn't going to put anything on paper .. because both he and the rest of us already know who the ones are that don't pay taxes .. he wants to save his precious welfare class ... How can you create the biggest welfare class in this worlds history if you're constantly dogging them about paying their taxes or assigning any tax rate to them.

Oops. I guess you didn't read the article. It's not really talking about income taxes at all. It's talking mostly about capital gains taxes.

I say "mostly" because the article is actually so garbled and incompetent that it can be hard to tell. The bottom line is that the claim that we all pay the same rate is both wrong and stupid.

Sounds like a flat tax would give everyone the same opportunity to pay according to their income.

I'd love a flat tax. To bad the Republican nominees think trickle down works after decades of proven failure.
