A man who mental problems with guns should not get them, period.
Define mental? Most of our society is on some form of prescription. They almost all alter your mind. Depression, anxiety, low testosterone? heck, what defines a mental case?
We need two things, and neither has to do with gun regulations:
1. Get rid of the whole insanity thing. Hell, we're all half nuts, anyway, or we wouldn't put up with the crapola in this society.
2. Free up law enforcement personnel to kneel down next to a shooter caught on site and put a round right behind his ear.
No hearing, no bail, no trial, no lifetime recreation at taxpayer's expense.
Murder innocent people in public, you get a third eye, pronto. Now THAT would be deterrence.
Absolutely. Now, if LEO's were only that well trained and accurate on average.
