True. I seen a tv special a year or so ago. High UPS in the tribe live like kings, the rest were given little and dirt poor. And no white people were involved.
Liberals and some minorities seem to think most problems they deal with or this country faces are due to whites. If they would ever get their wish and whites were a minority or gone, they'll find out quickly how wrong they are.
That last paragraph is bunk....a stupid platitude that just keeps going around so that certain whites can constantly remind themselves of how wonderful they are. No one gives a damn about white people one way or the other. No one is even thinking about whites in that way, but you're so deep into the persecution complex and self-importance that you WANT to believe it.
If you're so enamored of the idea of all of us minorities suffering so badly without your wonderful presence, then please be the first to lead the exodus out of the country.
I know in Arizona some reservations conditions are actually getting even worse thanks to hispanic immigrants (illegal as well), who are bringing in drugs and their "gang lifestyle".
I have some friends who are Apache, Papago before they changed their tribal name and Navajo and they are quite "racist" against Mexicans, some of the things they said to me about Hispanics almost made my hair stand up.

That's exactly why we need to end the Reservation system. It's corrupt and there is not enough oversight and accountability. Dismantle the reservations and then we can do away with the useless BIA.
Some of these reservations are like 3rd world countries. Poorer than even Mississippi or Puerto Rico. It's un-American. They deserve to have the same quality of life as any other American and that will not happen until we end the reservation system.
Indians aren't treated any better in Mexico or the rest of Latin America than they are in the U.S.
Mexican indians don't have their own piece of land that we call reservations. If Mexico took the southwest the Navahos and all other indian tribes would lose their land and be assimilated into the political landscape.

I think a few Mexican Indians have homelands much like our Rezs but near Guatemala. Mexico won't be taking much of anything cause they don't have big families any more and Mexicans ARE getting older as a group.

If they want to leave the reservations, individual members can leave. It's not a concentration camp. Those that want to stay should stay.
But i see no reason to end anything. If it's to be ended, then it should be the Indians that end it, and not outsiders.

So you came and took all our land and gave us other land. Then you found gold on our land and took that land and gave us different land. Now you want to take the land you gave us and leave us with nothing. We are recognized sovereign nations within America . Your government has said so. Sounds like another treaty is in the works.
