This isn't the first time The One has done that, either. I wouldn't allow him to use my tent for a campaign meeting if I were the man.
Somehow that man thinks he can spend taxpayers' money for anything and then come into places like that one and cost the taxpayer all that money having a campaign appearance.
The man could have said no and didn't. He will use that to get more people.
So nobody was able to clear security to get into that beer tent to buy a beer?
Quote:
The Bud Tent, which has been serving fairgoers for 65 years, had to be shut down to the public during the presidential drop-in; patrons had to be screened and scanned before being allowed entry.
The beer tent had been visited by other presidents and hosted by his great-grandfather.
So why didn't this guy feel honored enough to receive Obama at his beer tent?
During the time Obama was there (2 hours) he could have sold $25,000 worth of beer? I doubt it.
Quote:
The entire production required at least two hours, and the president’s sleek black coach bus pulled away from the Bud Tent by 8:30 p.m.

That was the first of four visits by sitting presidents, followed by Gerald Ford in 1975, George W. Bush in 2002 and Obama on Monday.
You have to have enough smarts to know that the Secret Service shut down business and checked on everyone who tried to get in for more than just a few minutes. Maybe you leaners really don't understand what took place and that may be part of the reason that most of you are not small businessmen.
lets say Secret Service **** it down for the day. He would still need to sell 312 beers an hour for 16 hours straight. Claiming to make $25000 a day in such a small tent is stretch. We can safely assume that not many beers are sold from 8am til noon. The rush would be around noon to 4 and then 6-12. So assuming the majority of his sales would be in a 10 hour period: He would need to sell 500 beers an hour. That is roughly 4 kegs an hour.
Plus, How many times did Bush do the same crap? Did you whine about it then? I doubt it.
That's kinda silly....Whenever the Prez stops at any function, they shut down streets, screen foodhandlers, visitors, everything stops for the brief time the Prez is there...
$25,000 bucks lost...NOT...and if he KNEW the Prez was coming.... he had to know nothing would be "normal" for the time the Prez was there...
The Air space, the Rails, everything changes to protect the President....
At the request of the U.S. Secret Service, the FAA can restrict airspace around the president for up to 30 nautical miles. For Obama’s brief stay in Silicon Valley, not only was airspace restricted but the Secret Service originally planned to shut down light rail service through downtown San Jose — one of the most highly traveled routes in the VTA system — for more than 12 hours.
VTA negotiated a compromise: Light rail would continue to run as scheduled but every vehicle would have to be swept by law enforcement K-9 teams for explosives at the light rail station stop prior to coming into range of the president’s hotel. Rail stations closest to the hotel were temporarily closed.
Budweiser is not beer, I am surprised they did not pay Obama to drink that swill.
