Republican, Independent, or Democrat .. we've gone down this road too far and the crash, or whatever you want to call it, is going to come. It's going to hit us like a ton of bricks regardless of who is sitting in the Oval Office.

Those who think that any one particular party is going to rush in, and save the day, are dillusional at best.
totally agree!!! the ship is going down!!! and it really doesn't matter who's at the helm unless super man shows up

I believe that we have a better chance of survival with Obama out of the White House. There is a chance but not with him there holding his veto pen as tight as he can when the Congress repeals Obamacare.

That's brilliant political marketing if they can use it effectively. "Are you reading for some R&R, America?" or "Because America needs some R&R from [insert political rhetoric]." They should pump their campaign full of something like that so it sticks in the minds of people who don't pay that much attention to politics.

You knew damned well what this thread was from the title but then you do like to bring Bush up to deflect from Obama and what he has accomplished in his first term. Deflection is one of Alinsky's favorite weapons.

Wow, you are a little butt hurt about that comment. Actually I mentioned it because that is the same comment I heard from Democrats when Bush was running for a second term, and guess what, the country is still here. Guess what is gonna happen after Obama wins his second term, the country will still be here ready for a new president.

I am just getting tired of this whole doomsday mentality every election. There are so many threads that are just purely absurd like this one. But it is always nice to have some humor about these things.

For many Americans that want to find jobs that are on par to pay for gas and groceries, they do feel like doomsday is nearing.

Let's face it, you cannot feed your family on minimum wage earnings.

You're right and MW was never meant to feed a family. Let's get rid of Obama and you'll see the business people in the US start hiring. Obama's anti-business stance does not promote job creation or growth.

Exactly. Unfortunately, mw jobs are all that are available in some areas. I feel bad for people. They are being told that in order to work, they have to commute longer and make a lot less. How are some of these people supposed to make it when even having 2 jobs doesn't make ends meet.

I agree. The business community is scared. They aren't afraid of spending money to make money, but if their bottom line isn't going to increase, they won't spend it. Who can blame them.
