Why so-called fiscal conservatives support this guy is beyond me.
Ryan is only a conservative to others, when it comes to his district and constituants, pork is fine with him. It's just RW hypocrisy. And he's supposed to be a TrEAsonous person too.

I think Biden exposed Ryan big time about the letters Ryan sent to the WH to ask for federal stimulus money to pay for food stamps, and to STIMULATE JOB GROWTH. These are the exact things he has been preaching about, and now he was exposed for embracing them.

Default Ryan asks for federal help as he championed cuts

Ryan asked for federal help as he championed cuts - Post-Tribune

Sorry but you can't be a champion of cuts while begging for the federal dole.

As a republican.......this part of the debate was one where I genuinely felt Ryan was looking pretty bad.

He wanted the cuts, but he didn't get them. It would have been irresponsible for him to let the money go the other 49 states.

I agree.

If the money was already going to be spent, why not bring some home when constituent businesses are asking for the money?

So you're saying its okay for Ryan to be a hypocrite then? That he could now so publicly denounce the stimulus package as ineffective and wasteful yet at the same time to have asked for some of that stimulus back then and somehow in your mind that's perfectly fine and reasonable??

I guess when its someone you support you'll give them a pass on anything and everything I suppose.

There's no difference between the two party's extremes but, what many want (thank god) is some one in the middle that's willing to really compromise so that something can get accomplished instead of just assigning blame.

It used to be called vote buying, and candidates at least had the decency to do it with their own money.

No honor among thieves any more.
