This is incredibly naive. Are you that insulated where you don't see the decadence and immorality of society all around you?
Why should an atheist with power who doesn't even know you, care about your livilihood if you are a mere souless entity or a bag of flesh and bones?
You are nothing to them. Why should you be allowed to impede on their lifestyle and use their resources and take their women?
They could easily crush you like an insect, and take everything you have, with no remorse. No consequences. Nothing.
They may feel guilty at first, but guilt will subside. Contemporary philosophical thinking will adapt to the circumstances of atheism. The bottom line is, they don't need you, and you use what could be theirs.
Because an atheist can recognize the frailty of life and how importance it is to preserve it. I am an atheist. I do not believe in stomping over other people to get what I want.

After reading about someof the mehods of torture...all in the name of religion, I'd choose the oven method. Did God tell them about these methods? Really, how did they come up wit this $hit???!!!!
It didn't stop Christians from doing it, did it? Never mind the various atrocities called for by the Old Testament.
Bad people are bad, whether they are Christians or atheists. They will always seek a way to legitimize the bad things they do. If that mean citing some obscure scripture to justify murder, so be it. If it means adopting a nihilistic perspective born from atheism, so be it.
