Heck, I remember when the American Dollar was much higher than the Canadian Dollar, people near the border would make the trek up there all the time to buy things in Canada. Heck, I wish I would of made a trip up their back then so I could of enjoyed that.

As for Costco, it sounds like they have no interest in limiting their own business just to make a small group of people happy.

Do you check your info before you post?

You should.

$1US = $0.9882CAD

Yeah, that's worth the trip.

Other than offering cheap stuff I don't think Costco offers anything to make their customers happy. I think they offer the worst shopping experience (not price) of any retailer, but people keep coming back in droves.

For the same reason you import your manufactured goods from China.

Anyway...

First Canada isn't socialist country by any meaning of the word, second you won't find a hell of a lot of "our products" on their shelves, just the same one's made in China, Malaysia, Pakistan etc., etc., just not at Costco prices.
Ah, yes they are. They have state run health care and a state run pension, that makes them a socialist country. And I didn't know american milk was made in pakistan and china.

I have to say I absolutely hate Costco...but I still shop there.
Another one that doesn't check their info before posting... Speaking of "Obvious".
