Doesn't mean we can assume that was the way of it with each of these students, particularly the one she started texting first.

Amazing...only two others commenting in this thread get it - three counting me.

California Jewel and RoadDog are to be commended.

Texas is going off on some sharia law taliban type sh1t. Maybe we need troops there too to protect the freedom of our actual citizens instead of random foreigners in other countries.

I think it would help if teachers stick to teaching and keep their hands off the kids..........she might see things differently when her children are grown, thats if they want anything to do with her.

I don't think she did anything wrong, but even if you disagree, you don't see criminal charges as excessive? Come on.

No I don't believe criminal charges should take place, the boys were more than willing. She should lose her job and not be able to teach again........... since her intentions are not to teach Reading, Writing or Arithmetic, well, maybe she was teaching some of these..........

Possible endangerment to her children should come in play.

Everyone wants to have sex with their teachers so shouldn't be hypocrites and say it's her fault and she should be punished. I don't think she should be punished at all actually unless she gave better grades to her lovers or these orgies somehow affected her teaching performance. They had sex so what. If my son was one of them, I'd be like hell yea, hi5. I'd only tell him to pick a better looking teacher next time.

I agree with this. It could do nothing but distract from and hinder the (academic) educating process for a teacher to get this sort of reputation, which I think we can all agree cannot be blamed solely on the media this time around.

I don't think she should do any jail time or anything like that. But she's not fit to be a teacher. Maybe a "porn star" playing the role of a teacher... I think the fact that they were all 18 should save her from legal penalties, but not vindicate her whatsoever. 18 or no, you are still a kid until you at least land a full-time job.

Anyone believing that someone should be arrested for having consensual sex with legal adults should have their head re-examined.
