This is a private board. There is no right to free speech here. There are several extremely anti-gay posters here that are nothing but trolls who start threads to get people riled up. I feel like we have half a dozen Fred Phelps wannabes trolling the boards.
So you think that a woman who happens to be a lesbian is naturally unfit to be a parent, but someone with the following history, which happens to be the history of the kidnapper, is suitable to be a parent?
Her parents divorced when she was 7 and she began taking speed at that young age.
She first identified herself as lesbian in 1994 supposedly pushed by psychiatrists at the hospital where she had been hospitalized for alcohol addiction.
She had a suicide attempt due to alcohol, pills, food addictions and her failed marriage.
Her mother was mentally ill and apparently had multiple personalities. She claims she was physically and sexually abused by her mother.
She claims her relationship with Jenkins was only physical a few times a year. She also lived with another woman for two years and another for a few months prior to meeting Janet Jenkins.

The sexual orientation of the child's parent doesn't exclude or make certain their ability to parent.
That's the whole premise of the thread, that homosexuals are hurting their children and that "heroic" people should take the law into their own hands to stop homosexuals from being parents.

The lack of logic is just frightening. The best part, however, is that there is no guarantee that this woman won't be found making sweet love to another women down in Nicaragua.

Aidind and abetting a criminal act is just as illegal as the act itself. This is a basic tenent of our legal system. IMHO in this case the Law trumps the Religious excuses used as an attempt to justify kidnapping. Remember a Christian criminal is still a Criminal.
The child should be with the parent to which she is legally bound. Sexual preference and religious beliefs of that person are irrelevant.
