So 50% of the population of New Mexico will feel alienated if the Presidential candidate does not like the same colour chilli as them?

Is this an inference that the people of New Mexico choose who they vote for based on the colour of a vegetable?

An intriguing concept.....

As a transplanted New Mexican, I can tell you that most of you have alienated the entire state by referring to chile as 'chilis'. You sound like Texans, and thats about as bad as an insult you can give in NM.

That being said, everyone eats both Red and Green Chile. Depends upon the dish. For example : who ever heard of red chile on burgers?

Well I have to side with Obama on this one. There is a restaurant in Santa Fe we love. The best red chile! Is it ski season yet?

What would Bill Richardson think?
The other half, on the other hand, is thrilled.
