Ha. Great stuff here. And there's never been a republican in office before?? And there will be no democrats voting in the house or senate. Sure the chief of staff has the veto power but come on now we all know ( well I guess that's an assumption) that the house and senate draft and pass.
P.S. WHEN did the republican party become the subject matter of a dystopian novel?? This list is madness. Interment camps??? Oh how my heart aches for the people in this country that are so living in fear. This is just not necessary.
Republicans would cut taxes for rich people. Republicans would raise taxes on lower income families.
Republicans would attempt some type of economic stimulus.
Republicans would attempt to restrict abortions. Republicans would target for cutting government spending on specific groups of people that they perceive to be gaming the system.
Republicans might bomb Iran. Republicans might get into a war with Iran. Republicans would ramp up anti-immigrant policies.
Republicans would attempt to repeal the ACA healthcare bill.
Immigrants or illegal immigrants? There is a difference, you know.
There was a thread IIRC about 3 or 4 months ago suggesting that child labor laws be removed. It dropped like a stone. As in Billboard magazine, "it was 57 with an Anvil". But that's not the point. Nobody's claiming that the republican policy is to scrap all child labor laws. But there was a poster on C-D who suggested such a thing and started a thread on it. The objective of my OP was to showcase the many different ideas and issues proposed by different far right posters at one time or another. Then put them all together as one big right wing wet dream. Yes, I elaborated using artistic license but in each item there is a grain of truth from an actual poster here on C-D. Frankly, when looked at in summation, it is a scary prospect. I hope it persuades some undecideds to hold the course and keep steady the current ship of state, come November. The alternative is too scary.
Your post was to take a back-handed swipe at conservatives, implying that we share much of the opinion on your list. Since, even by your own admittance, this couldn't be further from the truth - your post is rendered meaningless. It's just hate and vitriol repurposed for your own sport.
This just goes to show that liberals have absolutely no idea what conservatives stand for. Conservatism truly is a higher form of thinking... That probably sounded a bit pretentious, but Im starting to think that's the case.

8. The FEMA camps would be activated for the now disenfranchised seniors. Current generations hate the boomer generation and feel it is their just deserts.
9. Parents would be turned away from their childrens doors at thanksgiving in case they decided to stay, as they had no money and nowhere else to go.
10. All abortion would be illegal in any form at any time. Unwed mothers of newborns would be required to seek assistance from their local church group.
11. Christianity would be the only approved religion of the nation.
12. Gun purchases would be made extremely restrictive for future purchasers. Those already with guns would have their's grandfathered in. This would keep left wing anarchists from commiting violent acts against the ruling party.
13. War against Iran would be declared. It would spread to the entire Islamic world.
14. All foreign aid to all countries for whatever reason would immediately cease with the exception of Israel, which would triple.
15. All males between the ages of 18 and 44 would be required to register for the draft and be required to serve in the armed forces unless they paid a very large fee for a deferment.
16. A border fence 30 feet high would be constructed along the entire border, both north and south. It would rival the Great Wall of China in size, complexity and cost.
17. All social needs would be handled through Christian churches.
18. Only those who owned property or businesses would be allowed to vote.
19. All mineral and fuel rights on all property, either public or private would be owned by the government and all drilling or mining for our resources would be exploited/utilized to it's maximum effect.
20. All government regulation concerning financial institutions would be recinded.
21. All government regulations concerning envirnmental controls, food inspections or business transactions would be eliminated.
22. Education would revert to the parents and private institutions. The state would have no responsibility for educating the children. If you have the money for school then you can send your kids to any private school you like. If not you can choose not to have them educated at all. Christian churches would provide books for homeschoolers.
23. Capital gains would be taxed at 0%, while all loopholes and deductions would be eliminated from the tax code for middle class taxpayers.
24. Infrastructure would be funded by local co-ops of citizens who would be assessed an annual fee for the maintenence of their local roads and bridges.
25. Women would be required to conform to social moral standards established by the state sanctioned religion. Churches would be empowered to levy fines and punishment for local violators in their parish.
26. The bible would replace the constitution.
27. The minimum wage would be abolished.
28. Homosexuality would be declared a crime and subject to fines, jailtime and reeducation camps.
These are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head but, Every single one of these items has been seriously proposed by our far right wing counterparts in different threads here on C-D at one time or another.

When the uber-left realized people might actually vote for Romney. Time for the liberal posters to throw anything they can think of, no matter how gooey, to see if it'll stick.
